What is VidUP?
VidUP gives you one permanent player link for your business. Record a short landscape video, paste the link on your websites, and replace the video anytime — same URL everywhere.
Where do I sign up or sign in?
Sign up · Sign in · App: vidup-pwa.pages.dev
What is my permanent player URL?
After you create an account, Account shows your permanent URL: https://play.vidup.co/{your-code}. Copy that link. It never changes when you upload a new take.
How do I embed it?
Paste your play.vidup.co URL wherever your site asks for a video or embed link (WordPress, Squarespace, Shopify, Wix, Webflow, and similar). On WordPress and other oEmbed hosts, pasting the URL can auto-load the player. Some “Custom HTML” boxes only show text unless the builder has a dedicated video or URL field — prefer those fields over raw Custom HTML when the preview looks wrong.
Do you keep all my old videos?
No. VidUP hosts one live take per account. A new upload replaces what’s on your player URL (replace-not-history). Keep copies on your phone (Photos) if you want to reuse earlier clips.
Does VidUP save to Photos?
Yes — after you record, the app helps save the take to your phone so you can reuse it later. The server still only stores the current live player video.
What are the plan lengths?
Free 10 seconds · Basic 29 seconds · VID30 59 seconds. Every plan includes unlimited uploads (replace anytime). Paid plans are sold in the App Store / Google Play when those listings are live.
When do I see the trimmer?
Only when a clip is longer than your plan’s max length. If it’s already within the limit, you skip trim and go straight to use/share.
Why landscape only?
Record is locked landscape 16:9 so every site embed looks consistent. Turn the phone sideways to record.
What about the blue mark on the video?
Every encoded take burns a circular VidUP mark in the lower-right. That’s the product watermark — same place on preview and the live player.
Captions?
Optional English caption on Share (up to 500 characters). Viewers can show/hide CC on the player. Captions are not burned into the video file.
